a 1x4 and 3 knobs later I am a happy gal.
Supply list:
14 inch 1x4
3 knobs (on sale at hobby lobby for 1.50 each!)
4 wood screw caps
stain and screws
Step 1:
Stain or paint the wood
Step 2:
Pre drill holes for the knobs. I also drilled larger holes on the backside to counter sink the nut.
Step 3:
Insert knobs and cut off the back end of the screws so they can sit flat against the wall. I used the dermal for this.
Step 4:
Screw to wall and pop in screw caps.
I have been wanting to make one of these so bad to hand coats and bags on in our entry way I just haven't gotten to it yet. I love yours!

Great idea, so cute! I'm your newest follower by the way :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I was just talking with my friend today about doing something like that for our kids.
ReplyDeleteThat is super cute! And love the knobs you picked out. And see, I'd be the first one to go and buy something like that, and here you are making it all easy-peasy! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI was going to just go buy something then I saw the price tag. A similar one at Hobby Lobby where I bought the pieces was like $30. Saw that and was like heck no! Maegan you can so do it!
DeleteI've been wanting to make one of those too! Great job :)
