Merry Christmas to yours

I can hardly believe that we are already at the eve of Christmas. Where has the year gone, where has the holiday season gone.

I am blogging away from home today so I am making this short but I wanted to wish all of my readers a very Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is enjoying their families as much as we are. I can't wait to check out all the pictures I've been taking! Again, Merry Christmas!

DIY Christmas project

I love easy projects especially since easy usually means little time obligation. Remember I have three little ones to chase around all day. This is just about one of the easiest projects I have ever done.
It was free to make too!
I took a old window frame that I use as decor and "framed" 4 hand drawn holiday pictures. You could make it easier by using printable, I just prefer the hand drawn look.

Material list:
Frame
Pictures
Double sided tape

Here is the frame I used.

I simply applied the double sided tape to the back attached the picture and DONE.

DIY FREE wreath

Yes, you sure did read that caption right! We're about to make a free wreath and it looks great! This wreath was made from things I had laying around… you probably do too.

Supply list:
Cardboard box
hot glue
fabric (leftovers)
burlap or more fabric leftovers

Step 1:
Cut cardboard into shape you want for your wreath. I choose rectangle. You will want to cut 2 or three layers.

Step 2:
Glue your layers together. This allows for added stability!

Step 3:
Tear your fabric in 2 inch strips. I used old microfiber sheet that were left over from another project. Once your fabric is in strips glue one end to back of cardboard and start wrapping.

Once you have covered all the cardboard secure with more hot glue.

Step 4:
I added fabric flowers. Tutorial here.

Step 5:
Banner
Cut burlap into triangles.

Sew a straight stitch on all sides and create a spot to pull cord, fabric or as I used jute through to hold banner.

Step 6:
Write letters on burlap with a sharpie. Then string letters and secure to wreath with hot glue on the backside.

DIY Fabric flowers

These fabric flowers are super easy and super cute! I've used them several times to add detail.

Supply list:
Hot glue
Fabric strips

Step 1:
Tie a knot at the end of fabric

Step 2:
This step is kinda complicated but once you get it down it's easy. You are going to twist, roll and glue the fabric together until you reach the end. Make sure to secure the end of fabric under the flower.
